Hello. I’m Bonnie Crail, and I founded Crail Communications in 2007 following successful roles as a PR Director for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, and as VP Marketing for Park City Mountain Resort, VP Marketing for K2 Corp., and EVP Marketing for Ocean Pacific Apparel Corp.

Successes

Here are some results I’ve produced:

  • Launched three dozen new brands and global product lines, creating related marcomm plans and, as one example, resulting in $600 million in first-year product revenues.
  • Secured first ever ESPN and MTV global TV programming and related six-figure rights revenues to support corporately branded content.
  • Ran communications campaigns for four high-profile hotel GMs for the Hotels magazine annual Hotelier of the World award. All four candidates won in their respective years.
  • Opened multiple luxury hotels, restaurants and spas, handling all external communications for same and securing numerous early wins including “Top New Hotel,” “Best New Restaurant in the USA,” and “#1 New Spa” – all leading to rapid revenue generation.
  • Navigated major corporate crises for client companies and individuals. Successful cases have addressed lawsuits, harassment/HR claims, boycotts, protests, criminal complaints, discrimination, foreclosure, bankruptcy, public health issues and defamation by social media/influencers.

I have B.A. and M.A. degrees from Arizona State University, post-graduate study experience at Oxford University and the University of Utah, and Harvard University training in Customer Relationship Management. I am a former Ritz-Carlton global Public Relations Director of the Year, winner of the national Adrian Award from the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI), and a former pro bono board member and two-time elected president of the Surf Industry Manufacturers Association (SIMA).
